Black knight Deleted my E-Commerce shop.

I have been a black knight customer for 4 years ! I recently was involved in a car accident and was out of work for 10 weeks & lost a good friend in that car accident so was unable to return to work . Payment hadn't went thru from a change of card number . So they deleted my whole website and told me today they cannot retrieve my website. Not one phone call did they attempt , to allow me a chance , they sent automated emails , that were not read till today , but not one customer courtesy call after 4 years been a customer. This morning they took the month's payments missed , and called me later on to say my website was un - retrievable. Horrible to be dealt with this blow .. I feel this is their way of putting customers under pressure to re-develop a new online store with them.. Terrible company to deal with no loyalty what so ever to their customers.

Blacknight will sort it

Can't recommend Blacknight highly enough. LSS moving into new housing development and trying to install broadband but being fobbed off by other on site providers. One of which was my active provider. Officially a remote worker in Tech with servers based in UK, I was told to come back in 3 months! Contacted Blacknight who took the time to chase and organise physical connection (the final bit of wire into the house!). Now, a few days later, I am active with 1gb Fibre Broadband!! A huge relief and wholehearted gratitude to Noelle and her engineering team.

Fast and professional but no option to…

Fast and professional but no option to self host or move a domain no dynamic dns service offered - long story short registered a domain I'll never use! Reply:I either need a ddns or a static ip namecheap offer such service but cannot use a .ie domain or transfer only other option is to tunnel with cloudflare not ideal option for me. The middle of the road review is because as a modern "professional" service provider you think you would offer a ddns service like your competitors. And just for the record I would have no problem pay for sucha service.

I’m not sure what you mean by “self host”. We offer DNS hosting so you can point the domain to whatever IP you wish. If you need assistance please contact our helpdesk.
We’ve never offered dynamic DNS but there’s nothing stopping you from switching the nameservers to a service that does.

Gerard & Support Team are SO HELPFUL

Today I had another amazingly supportive experience with support / tech team member Gerard. I’ve called Blacknight in the past when clients have had tech emergencies or needed urgent help & Gerard is so knowledgeable, helpful & eager to resolve the issues - I cannot rate him highly enough. If you are lucky enough to have him deal with your queries/ you can be guaranteed you are in incredible hands. Thanks again Gerard for taking all of the stress away.

Great company for buying domain names…

Great company for buying domain names and hosting. Discounted prices on new domains and great value in years 2, 3, and beyond. Tech support guys are always online if you have an issue and are quick to get back to you if they have to investigate further with engineering. Been using them for about 5 years now and no complaints.

When you are trying to get things done

When you are trying to get things done, it is nice to have a human on hand to fix it for you. Plain English support. In addition to great local tech support, domain price offers are reasonable. They have a sensible attitude to pricing and implementation of https certificates. Hosting.? Easy to buy, helped to implement by support, excellent. Also, they seem close to the ie domain registry people which helps. Moving from one black night account holder to another is made easy.

For the lost generation

AS someone who doesn't have a clue about web site transfers or the dark hole they fall into when you try. These guys were brilliant in answering all my silly question and assisting on getting it back up and running.
Had amazing patience and have no problem recommending them.

My opinion of Black Knight

Both helpful and knowledgeable in our change over to .ie. Minimum waiting time to get speaking with tech support along with extremely courteous staff. I would recommend this company to anyone who, like myself is not very computer literate. Black Knight staff make things look very easy.

Very simple and easy to register new…

Very simple and easy to register new web domain. Impressed with the prompt notifications on email.
As an aside, I picked Blacknight and knew about them via following Alan (the unofficial weather man) on twitter. Dont know Alan but thought at least I was giving something back for his free weather work.

Friendly and professional web hosting services

Extremely pleased! Blacknight have been friendly, helpful and professional at every step as I've switched over to them as my web hosting service. Their website is very informative, their pricing is straightforward and clear, and all requests for advice, quotes or services have been answered extremely quickly. Highly recommended!

They block Koreans for no reason.

They block Koreans for no reason.
They identified me as an "fraud customer" and blocked my access just because I'm from Korea. I didn't even get into the shopping cart page, let alone sign up. They're the worst. Never use it.

In common with most online merchants we are subject to a lot of fraudulent orders. As the bulk of our clients are based in Ireland and Europe we often ask potential clients from outside the region to contact us directly before placing an order. Sorry if you feel that this is a problem, but you could have contacted our team and they'd have been able to assist you in placing an order.

Five Stars for Blacknight's Gavin

Gavin helped me align my Outlook email account with Blacknight server in minutes- an insurmountable task for me if left to my own devices. He talked me through how to do it and then took control of my computer to do the couple of bits I could not manage directly. Fantastic service, great manners, short waiting time- five stars for Blacknights Gavin.

Blacknight have been an absolute joy to…

Blacknight have been an absolute joy to deal with from start to finish. The customer service is unparalleled. I have fibre broadband installed in my business today, less than 3working days since the order was placed. Noelle was excellent in assisting me with their hosting packages and tidying up all the things I forgot I needed for setting up the website. I will wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone who asks. Ronan.

Best service and customer experience

I use Blacknight for few years now. User interface improved greatly, so it's easy to find and navigate for what you need. If its about DNS and all other server related stuff that you need to set up in order to make your website working, you can always count on customer service team - they are just the best. If it is about the service and acces to my website there was never any problem, all works smoothly. Highly recommended

Blacknight - An excellent company

Blacknight is an excellent company to work with. I designed my own website but had so many questions due to the design layout being different to what I've been used to. After all, it was very easy to use and it has so many fantastic additions and designs.

Emails were answered almost immediately in a friendly professional manner. No question went unanswered as I had experienced with my previous website provider. An absolutely pleasure to deal with Noelle Jordan.

Would highly recommend Blacknight.

Great and reliable service!

Been using Blacknight for about 10 years, have tried a lot of other vendors for DNS for example but eventually transferred my domains back to BK. Reliable and pleasant to deal with support any time an issue has come up. 5/5 well deserved!

I have been using Blacknight for…

I have been using Blacknight for domains and hosting for years and find their service is excellent. Last year, I got their fibre broadband after Eir gave me the run around for 5 months. In less than a week, I was up and running. I have the 500Mbs fibre to home and constantly get the advertised speed. Even watching a 4K movie, the drop is minimal.
I cannot fault the service that Blacknight have given me over the years. They are the benchmark for other Irish companies

Great Customer Support Service!

Had issues with my hosting and contacted Blacknight customer support. Garry (the agent on my case) was super helpful and did a really good job. That's exactly what we want from customer services: Clear guidelines and help when needed. Congrats on the job well done and thanks for your help.
